Numara Software appoints éclat Marketing for UK PR Activity

LIGHTWATER – 16th January 2011 – éclat Marketing, the specialist technology PR agency, today announced that it has been appointed by Numara Software, a global provider of integrated IT Operations Management, to help increase the awareness and media coverage of the company in the UK.

éclat was chosen to manage Numara’s UK PR activity due to the agency’s experience in the IT Service Management and cloud computing/managed services sector and will be focussed on developing Numara’s presence amongst the IT trade, Mobile enterprise, Telecoms and Channel press ahead of key announcements for the company, particularly in the run-up to the Service Desk and IT Support Show, which is to be held in April 2012.

éclat Marketing puts its money where its mouth is with the new ‘No Risk, Money Back Promotion’

LIGHTWATER – November 16th, 2011 – éclat Marketing, the specialist technology PR consultancy, today announced that it has launched a campaign to offer technology clients a risk free option to move away from their current underperforming PR agency.

Recent research conducted by éclat Marketing amongst Marketing and PR managers in technology companies revealed that many had persevered with an agency that they were not satisfied with, rather than run the risk of changing agencies. It also discovered that new agencies had frequently taken up to six months to get up to speed on the client and its solutions and to be fully effective in pitching stories to the media.

Dianne Canham, Client Services Director at éclat Marketing, commented, “We recognise that changing your technology PR agency can feel like a risky business, which is why we’ve come up with a way of minimising the risk. If you engage with éclat for our PR services we will undertake to at least match the competitive editorial share of voice (SoV) achieved by your previous agency within the first quarter of working with you, or we will refund your full three month’s fee. In most cases we would expect to significantly increase a client’s editorial share of voice in the first quarter.”

éclat will use an independent media measurement service to provide a free independent analysis of the current percentage editorial SoV achieved against your nominated competitors. This figure will then be used as the minimum coverage target for PR activities in the first quarter of a client engagement. At the end of the first quarter they will run another media analysis and if éclat has not matched or improved your SoV, the full quarterly fees will be refunded.

This offer will apply to companies that are moving from an existing agency relationship and to new client contracts signed before January 31st 2012.
