éclat Marketing, the specialist cybersecurity PR agency, continues to expand its growing team with the appointment of a new recruit, Emily Quick, who has joined the agency as a Junior Account Executive. The appointment comes on the back of éclat’s growing cyber security client base and recent new business wins.
Fresh out of university with a first-class degree in English Literature and Spanish, Emily is kick-starting her career in PR with a cybersecurity focus.
Emily says, ‘My degree was heavily based on communication, so I thought a career in PR would enable me to carry skills learned at university over to the workplace. I didn’t imagine I would go into the cybersecurity industry, but as soon as I had my interview at éclat I knew I wanted to work here. Waiting to hear back was one of the most nerve-wracking yet exciting moments of my life, I cried when the offer came through!’
Having only been at éclat a short time, Emily is currently getting to grips with both the world of PR, and that of cybersecurity. As with all éclat recruits, Emily has hit the ground running and has already been playing an integral part in PR campaigns and launches including pitching interviews with journalists and analysts and writing content on a wide range of topics for industry titles.
‘Although new to the company, I am trusted with a great amount of responsibility and already have invaluable interaction with many of the clients I am working with, it’s brilliant!’ says Emily.
Dianne Canham, Managing Director of éclat Marketing, says: ‘Emily is proving to be an excellent asset to the éclat team, bringing fresh ideas and a strong determination to go above and beyond targets for our clients.’
Emily will be working on clients such as Duo Security, SentinelOne, ShieldQ, and TrapX.
Outside of the office Emily can usually be found lifting bars in the gym, or standing beside a rather different type of bar with friends.
